2012 HROA Awards

Be Exceptional

For eight years, the HROA Awards have been the highlight of the year and an aspiration for those in the HRO industry in Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, and globally.

Each year the HROA selects a theme and the awards criteria revolve around that theme.
You’ve BEen Innovative
You’ve BEen Energized
You’ve BEen Empowered
Now is the time to BE Exceptional. Apply today for a 2012 HROA BE Award.

All nominations are required to provide demonstrable evidence of how the nominee(s) garnered exceptional results through their efforts within their organizations and / or the HRO industry within the awards year.

Awards Process

Awards Committee

The HROA convenes an Awards Committee to manage a transparent and unbiased process.  The Committee is responsible for reviewing and approving the criteria for each award prior to its publication and for qualifying all nominees.  This involves verifying the completeness of all nominations (e.g., testimonials, logos [optional], photos) and the eligibility of all nominees (e.g., do they meet the award criteria?).

Eligibility

Nominations are open to all new contracts, relationships, and/or projects with start dates in 2011 as well as any existing contracts, relationships, and/or projects with start dates prior to 2011. Therefore, for the awards presented in May 2012, the award year would be January 1 to December 31, 2011. Members and non-members are allowed to submit nominations.

Nominations & Voting
We are only accepting EU Award submissions as of February 29th.

The awards categories are posted to the HROA website and the nomination process is kicked-off with a communication to all HROA members. Anyone may submit a nomination for consideration.  Nominations should include the following:

Completion of online nomination form  found at http://www.hroa.org/content/eighth-annual-hroa-awards-gala?destination=node%2F2482 with two to three sentences addressing each criterion;

  • A high resolution picture (for individual nominees); and
  • The nominee’s company logo (optional).

Nominations should emphasize excellence in service delivery and innovation in alignment with the award year theme BeExceptional.  Nominations are open for approximately eight weeks and upon close of the nominations process, all nominations are reviewed by the Awards Committee to ensure at least two qualifying nominees exist in each category. If there are less than two nominees in a regional category then the regional award nominees will be considered for the Trustee Awards Presented at the annual HROA Gala (in conjunction with HRO Today Forum North America).

Once nominations are approved by the Awards Committee, the nominations are published on the HROA website.  All HROA members are eligible to cast a vote.

  • Global members vote for Trustee Awards, NA Awards, APAC Awards, and EU Awards
  • NA members vote for Trustee Awards and NA Awards
  • APAC members vote for Trustee Awards and APAC Awards
  • EU members vote for Trustee Awards and EU Awards

After all the individual votes are cast, only the majority vote from each member company in each category will be counted as one vote for that nominee.  Final award winners are selected by the total number of votes received from each member company.

Information on Award submissions and Award Voting will be shared via email, newsletter, Twitter (@HROA), LinkedIn, and Ning (buyers-only).
